FAQ

Is this for Claude Code or Cursor?

No. This pack is OpenAI Codex only (.agents/skills, $ invoke, ~/.codex). If you want Claude Code + Cursor, see the separate pack.

I have never installed Codex. Can I start from this pack?

Yes. START.txt and PDF Chapter 03 give copy-paste install lines for macOS, Windows, and Linux, then login, codex --version, copying this kit, and a first read-only session.

Do I need the Codex CLI, or is the IDE enough?

Either works. Skills and AGENTS.md apply across CLI and IDE; the PDF notes surface differences at a high level.

Will this match my Codex build?

Guidance was checked against official docs on October 13, 2026. Features were not all re-run live. If behavior differs, follow OpenAI’s docs.

I’m new to Codex. Is this too advanced?

Start with the PDF “Start here” path and workflow WF1. You only need install → edit AGENTS.md → one $plan-feature on a small task.
